Duke Gardens (02)

These are some photos of the Duke Gardens in late April, 2008. These gardens are a favorite place in the world for my wife and I.

Nathan,
Your photos are very beautiful!!
Thanks so much for sharing them.
I loved all the pictures of Tricia on your other blog. The one of her at Rita's getting ready to eat did my heart good.
I am hoping to get a Nikon for Mother's Day.
I love photography so I will keep checking back for new photos.
Keep up the great work!

Great pictures - I just went back and looked at all of your posts on this blog, and I have to say that my favorites were the ones of your wedding rings. Just beautiful.

You take great pics, Nate. I need to get a different camera. The Fuji finepix F700 I have has such a lag time and also, just doesn't get sharp details in close ups, doesn't have enough zoom, and th e color has always been off. If you were buying a camera today would you get another Rebel or something else? ( I know you are busy and if you don't hav time to tell me, I understand. If you do find the time, thanks in advance :)
God Bless

Nate
your pictures are totally rad! what actions do you use on them or is it all your own editing?
Tricia is so beautiful...the boys will be knocking down the door for Gwenyth in 16/17 years!

I have a fujis700 like the other poster and I love love it, it does awesome about getting close and the color is great. It does have a bad lag time and I get a ton of blurry pis, I think that is me though.

Beautiful pictures Nate! We are shopping for a new camera. I know it's part photographer, part camera. Since I'm a really bad photographer, I need a really good camera. :) Jason and I have looked at a Canon like you have, but we haven't decided yet. I think I may need to take a photography class to ever take pics this good! Jason says hi btw!

GWENYTH'S ROOM

You should print out the beautiful rose pics and hang them in
Gwenyth's room at home in the OBX! They could symbolize all that your famliy has went through while at
Duke. Appropriate for Gwenyth "Rose"! Cheap art work with meaning, they will cheer up her nursery and be cost effective!

Praying for you in Chesapeake,VA!!

hello tricia & nathan
i just love the idea (comment) that is above mine
if you both agree, i would be honoredto have them framed for
you guys... let me know when you have the time (email)
to even think about this kind of stuff
i know you know this but i would like to "say it" anyway,
i do not want to come across like i'm telling you where the pic's should go ,
i don't even know if you would like to have them,
so ok here goes....,
they don't have to go in gwyneth's room you might want to hang them some where else
sincerely,
patricia nelson & family

Your family is simply beautiful and I am inspired every time I log on to your site. God bless you, Nate, Trica, little White Rose and Meka too. That little stuffed dude has played a huge part too. We haven't met, but We Love You All!
