My Baby (01)
Gwyneth Rose is my daughter. She was born 15+ weeks early, and just recently came home from the hospital for the first time. These shots are from our time in our hotel suite in Durham while waiting to return home to the OBX (you can read more about that Here).

She's stunning, of course! I've been following your blog since the day before the transplant. Seeing Gwyneth brings back all kinds of memories. While my daughter was 35 weeks, she'd stopped growing at 29 weeks. She came home weighing 4 pounds even. It was July and I sooo wanted to take her to church, in a very special dress! I went shopping and came home with a doll that came complete with 3 outfits, including tiny tights! I can't believe Angela wore those things, but they were huge on her! I still have the dress somewhere, the waist just barely fits around my wrist! My daughter will be celebrating her 12th birthday on the 6th..what a ride it's been!

I have been an almost daily reader of the other blog since March. Looking at the pictures of Gwyneth today brought tears to my eyes. Her cheeks are getting some "chub" to them! So precious. She reminded me today that God is Creator God with a plan for each of us. I'd forgotten that for a bit. Thank you for sharing part of your life. God is using you more than you'll understand this side of His presence.

The first picture at the top is by far my absolute favorite so far of Gwyneth Rose. She has come so far, eh? I love that she is starting to look more like a "few" month old baby rather than an obvious preemie. She has filled out so much and is just so darned precious! She has always been beautiful...from the first pict you posted...and just gets more adorable with every passing day. She will so love that you have all of this recorded!

I LOVE the ones of her in the pink cap! YOU NEED To save that cap for when she is about 6 months old (gestation adjusted) You have to look at my blog! A couple of days ago I found a blue cap very similar to the one Gwyneth is wearing... only, my son wore it when he was a newborn... and now at 6 months old I put it on him! IT is AMAZING to see how they grow... You do not notice it as much in every day life.... Arent you so lucky to have such inspiring/beautiful subjects to photograph! The pictures are gorgeous :) And let me tell you... the older Gwyneth gets the worse the picture taking will get. It drives my husband nuts over how many photos I take of my kids but I say keep it up... before you know it Gwyneth will be going to kindergarten and all you'll have is these pictures to remind you of how tiny she once was. And if your like me at all you'll quickly become the 'annoying' parent that is constantly saying that their kids grow up sooo fast.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY she could be any cuter. My word... she is just so precious that if I were there (and actually knew you guys and you didn't give the "crazy stranger look") I'd pinch her little cheeks, gently of course, and squeeze her cuteness.

Just wanted to tell you that pics 3-5 remind me so much of Tricia's dad, as I remember him from church. She is definately a Kershner as well as a Lawrenson! I had never seen that resemblince before & it is so awesome to see her beautiful expressions! What a blessing from Heaven!

umm...not sure if you realize this, Jo, but Tricia is adopted, so any resemblance (not that we would mind a resemblance) to the Kirschner clan is purely coincidental.
