Tricia is my wife. These shots are from our time in our hotel suite in Durham while waiting for our baby to be discharged from the hospital (you can read more about that Here).
I'm not sure which of these next two I like better...
Nate, these are absolutely lovely! Tricia is absolutely lovely.
The last two are both my "favorite" for different reasons. I LOVE the nail polish and her rings being in such sharp focus on the one... and her beautiful face being in such sharp focus in the other one.
I know you're anxious to bring Gwyneth home... but it looks like you're enjoying the last few days of "just" the two of you. (You know what I mean, I hope.)
Love your photos. How on earth do you get that angelic coloring of the first two? Is it a photoshop trick? I'd love to learn to do that to photos of my children. Best of luck to you and your lovely wife (hello gorgeous!!!). Your story is touching in so many ways. . .
You have an incredible gift for photography! I've been reading your other blog since shortly after Gwenyth's birth and was blown away by your amazing photo's of your journey!
I am a hobby photographer also who is just starting to take on some paying jobs : ) I also have a Rebel XT that I just got a few months ago... I LOVE it!
Your photo's def. look pro to me! Keep up the great work!! ~Valerie
Tricia is always so beautiful, but the second photo with her eyes so prominent, is absolutely stunning. It's easy to see the love you two share, even from the photos you take of her and how she smiles for the camera. You two are not just an inspiration of strength, but also of the resiliency and fun that can be present in a marriage! Gwyneth is going to have such a BLAST being home with you two! Anxiously awaiting the post on CF Husband, that tells of Gwyneth's release from the hospital!
I don't think it's possible to take a bad picture of Tricia. She's absolutely beautiful, but I love the one where her face is in focus. I love to take pictures, but couldn't even call myself a hobby photographer. I wish I could :-).
Nate, for professing not to be a "pro" with the camera, you have a great eye for pictures and style. You are a natural. Your love of Tricia, Gwenyth, the Lord and life itself comes through. I so enjoy your photos. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love your photos. What photo editing software do you use? I have a Rebel xti and have no idea how to take decent pictures with it. I know there's so much it can do...but I haven't got a clue.
I like them all. Although I am partial to the top two. I tend to like them due to the old time black and white photo's. Is that a setting change to do so on your camera or a editing program you using??
I think Tricia has the most beautiful eyes, and the contrast of her eyelashes against her cheeks is stunning. You are one lucky man, Nate. But you already knew that! It's nice to see you doing so well, Tricia! You and Nate are obviously so much in love. I Thank God for your miracles, so you can spend more time with your family. They need you so much! How do you get the "faded" or glowing look to your pics? I really want to try it...if I can, of course ;-) You really do an unbelievable job with your photos...they are beautiful!

Wow, she is absolutely, stunningly beautiful!
She really looks like Audrey Hepburn in these photos.

my favorite is the second one you posted--her eyes look GORGEOUS. Of the last two, i like the one where her face is in focus.

She's beautiful! Great photos, and I like all of them.
Tricia has some of the prettiest eyes I have ever seen and Nate, you capture them beautifully!!
absolutely beautiful! You have a natural talent for photography...of course, it doesn't hurt that Tricia is such a stunningly beautiful woman!
