Well, I should have remembered that I don't like shooting candid photos of people when I said that this week's challenge would be "easy"...I had some good ideas, none of which materialized very well. But, I did get a few good shots that I thought I would share. I'll let you decide what kind of emotions you see in these...
Wonderment (while watching Baby Einstein)
Contentment (after sleeping in this same spot all day)
Fear and Sadness (after waking up from a nap in a strange place)
Shyness (she's always been shy around the camera)
Joy (probably from being tickled by this new stuff called "grass")

I'm a frequent lurker, following your family blog as well. I really like the picture of your cat. The colors of the blanket are great. And the emotion in her eyes. Great shot!
Love the last one of Gwyneth! Her little teeth are so cute! The first one she looks so sleepy but I love how the background is almost black and all you see is her.

Funny how you dislike candids and that's my favorite. I dislike the over use of posed pictures. It works for certain situations, but with kids its all about the moment. :-) I will post my link tonight when I upload my pics... day late dollar short. Tuesday is our hectic night of the week and when we got home from our activities I crashed!
