I've created a Facebook Page for my photography. Become a fan! (haha)

Creative
As a member of OurCreativeCommunity, I have been challenged to write a post about what my creativity as a photographer (as a hobby photographer).
I like to write lists, so here are a few of my inspirations:
> My wife, Tricia and my daughter, Gwyneth. I have a feeling that they are going to be best friends, not so much because of their relationship, but because Tricia tends to see the world as most young children do...she often views things through a filter of wonderment and awe. I envy her for that. Gwyneth is just reaching the age where she is really able to truly see and begin to comprehend the world around her, and it is so much fun to just watch her take it all in. Hanging out with my girls helps me to see the world through younger eyes and with a younger heart.
> Other photographers. Jessica Claire, Susan Stripling and David Molnar are a few of my favorites, but I'm always chasing links to other photographers. Although I may never be as good as any of them (not that I even aspire to be), to simply view their art stirs my passion to shoot.
> Nature. I love living on the Outer Banks of NC...the ocean, the dunes, the sunsets, and so much more. When I first started loving to shoot, I was predominately shooting the landscapes of the Outer Banks. I feel close to God when I'm outdoors, especially around the beach, and because God is my Creator, I imagine that closeness to Him fuels my own creativity. Now that I have a family of my own, it's a new challenge to combine shooting them and shooting the landscapes together.
A few of the questions asked as part of this challenge were about the creative process, and, quite honestly, I really don't think that purposefully about it. I just shoot when I shoot and post the photos I like and that's about it...I really am a simple person when it comes to my photography.
I do enjoy editing photos, but again, I usually keep it simple. I love to share my photos with others, but usually only because I think my wife is so beautiful and my daughter is so fun.
When I feel uncreative, I just don't even try...I'd rather focus on something else that I need to do or enjoy doing instead of getting frustrated trying to shoot when I really don't feel like it. There are few things less enjoyable than carrying a camera around everywhere when you really don't feel like shooting anything...that probably explains why I post on this blog in bunches/spurts.

My Family (05)
Gwyneth Rose is my daughter and Meka is my pug. These shots were taken in early March in our home in NC. I was experimenting with different angles using indirect sunlight. (Gwyneth just had eye surgery, which explains why here eyes are red, if you notice)
